The ML 700.3 Legend car audio midrange features the V-cone geometry upgrade, the Neodymium magnet assembly and the threespoke anti-resonant aluminium alloy basket with vented holes.Thanks to these technologies, as well as the Boundary Free Surround, taking the diameter emission from 60 to 65 mm, the midrange will provide extended, properly damped low frequency response, as the component will be filtered especially at the low frequencies, for excellent combination with the ML 1800.3 Legend, to build an ultra-performing system for competitions.

Crossovers: The included 48" tweeter wires have high pass crossovers wired in-line. The input end of each wire is terminated with female quick slides that attach to the woofer terminals, and the output end has terminals that mate to the terminals on the wire attached to the tweeters. The crossover point is 3.5 kHz and the slope is 6 dB/octave. Each crossover is approximately 1" long and ⅜" at its widest point. The woofer is not crossed over.

The Tetolon dome tweeter and Neodymium magnet is provided with off-axis dispersion features and exceptional frequency extension for a detailed, airy sound. Radial Venting System technology ensures unparalleled cooling of the coil thanks to the eight holes at the base of the engine that allow air exchange with the tweeter support. This acts as a rear camera, sized for low Fs, to ensure a natural mid range and allow a low frequency crossover point with the woofer. The pressed-paper cone and the butyl rubber suspension offer an extended low frequency response and an impressive punch. The Mille-inspired design basket features a dampened and protective rubber coated magnet. The grille, available as optional, is made up of a durable high resistance ABS frame and metallic mesh protection.

The R&D team worked extensively to optimize the C 26 dispersion characteristics to maximize performance on the listening point, with a natural and progressive roll-off and a natural timbre that favors frequency linearity. Much time was invested in the research of the perfect material for the C 130 woofer cones: through a long process of customization of the materials SPP-M was selected (Semi Pressed Paper-Mica), which preserves the natural sound of the semi-pressed paper and enhances it with Mica powder improving rigidity. The result is an excellent balance between lightness and damping, essential for a powerful and controlled emission. The oversized ferrite magnet provides excellent control even at higher excursions. The ultra compact CCX 2 crossover featuring tweeter emission level control (0, +3 dB) uses selected components for a full and engaging sound. The CG 100 grilles included in the Cento systems brighten up the car interior with their sophisticated design. Made of high resistance ABS with metal mesh, they offer a high degree of protection within a compact size, ideal for in-car installation.
