The Audison SB10SA1 is a great option for adding powerful bass to your car audio system. This sealed Aerpro 10″ Loaded Slimline Subwoofer Box is designed to save space, with dimensions of 341mm (H) x 485mm (W) and a tapered depth of 85mm to 135mm, making it easy to install in most vehicles. With an internal volume of 11.31 litres and a 232mm mounting cutout, it provides an ideal setup for clean, punchy bass.
The APS10D 800W Subwoofer used is designed to deliver maximum performance in a sealed enclosure with ultra-compact volumes, from 10 lt. to 12 lt. The dual voice coil features push connectors for ease of wiring and configuration. Prima subwoofer components have been developed with a primary goal: to deliver high output in tight spaces. Output is a matter of excursion; the more air the cone moves, the more output. However, reduced mounting depth traditionally has meant low excursion.
Prima subwoofers employ a special cone-dust cap-basket geometry which guarantees large excursion of the mobile group while keeping the mounting depth to a minimum. The surround and spider have been carefully designed to prevent the “rocking – -mode” phenomenon. The cooling circuit has been designed with air vents on the basket underneath the spider, eliminating the need for vents on the bottom – plate. This allows the subwoofer to be mounted close to the back wall of the enclosure, making the most of the reduced mounting depth.

The APBX 8 R loaded enclosure was developed with reflex loading, with tuning designed to concentrate SPL in the lowest frequency range. The aim was to exploit the natural boost in output found in most cars below 60 Hz known as cabin gain. The 8-inch single 4 ohm voice-coil subwoofer has a powerful motor that maximizes efficiency. The low-resonant frequency of the subwoofer, matched to the reflex enclosure keeps excursion low within the entire audio spectrum, allowing also the use with a pair of AF C4.10 bit/AF C4D/AF M4D bridged channels, capable of delivering 260 W rms.

For this purpose an 8.5 lt. sealed enclosure with a 4+4 ohm dual voice-coil configuration was adopted to exploit the full power of an AF M5.11 bit (paralleling voice coils for a 2 ohm load) or with two pairs of AF C8.14 bit/AF M8.14 bit bridged channels (one bridged pair of channels to each voice coil). The speakers high excursion capability allows the use of the proprietary BASS BOOST of AP bit amplifiers to make use of all the available power for rich and dynamic bass.

The controls section is complete and provides an optimal regulation of the low-frequency emission in the car cabin. AP 6.5 Ω2 woofer has been developed with 2Ω nominal impedance with the purpose of exploiting all the power made available by the AP8.9 bit amplifier capable of 65W into a 2Ω load.
To maximize the woofer efficiency achieving 95 dB, a 25 mm diameter 10 mm winding height coil, so a more lightweight coil, has been employed, at the same time also providing a linear excursion 2.8 mm higher than the one of AP 6.5 (4Ω), therefore ensuring high SPL values with minimum distortion even at high listening levels.
To extend the woofer’s frequency range down to low frequencies up to 50 Hz a 75 Hz resonance frequency has been chosen, achieving excellent low frequency output even without the use of a subwoofer.

1. Hertz Pure Marine Certified Product stamp featuring the IP65 protection grade, ASTM-D4329 standards for UV resistance and ASTM-B117 for salt fog operability.
2. Equipped with dedicated 8” coaxial speaker featuring a long-throw 32 mm (1.26”) voice coil woofer with polypropylene cone injected with UV inhibitors and 1.4” Neodymium magnet tweeter.
3. RGB led lighting creates sophisticated atmosphere, adding tons of class to your vessel. Front RGB lighting is included built-in the front grille, while rear RGB lighting is an add-on with the specifically developed HTX RGB LOGO.1 accessory (available both in black and white color).
