Some OEM sources/head-units have a test circuit that monitors the presence of a low-impedance load to enable audio outputs. When you connect this type of head-unit to the high-level inputs of an Audison bit processor, which has a high impedance load, audio outputs are silenced. By inserting the USS 4 between the source and the processor / amplifier, these problems are definitively solved. Some OEM sources/head-units have a test circuit that monitors the presence of a low-impedance load to enable audio outputs. If there is a need to generate a remote signal to control the amplifier turn on/off, it is necessary to power the USS4, providing the additional feature of the possibility to delay the signal from 1 to 8 seconds, so as to avoid annoying “bumps” upon ignition. In countries where the legislation on electromagnetic compatibility is not mandatory under ECE / UN Regulation no. 10/5

ES3 - BIT ENERGY STORAGE START & STOPIt prevents the processor from shutting down when turning on vehicles featuring the start & stop system. When starting the engine, the vehicle battery voltage might decrease below 8 Volts value. If an Audison bit processor is installed in your system, especially with vehicles featuring the start & stop system, low supply voltage values might make the processor shut down. In order to avoid waiting for the processor to complete its turn-on cycle again, you can install the ES3 by connecting it in series to the processor power supply cables.

This Plug&Play harness allows the replacement of the OEM BMW amplifier with an Audison AP bit or AF bit amplifier on BMW vehicles from 2004+ equipped with the HI-FI 676 sound system options and on BMW vehicles from 2014+ equipped with 674 low level Harman-Kardon system. The APBX 8 R loaded enclosure was developed with reflex loading, with tuning designed to concentrate SPL in the lowest frequency range. The aim was to exploit the natural boost in output found in most cars below 60 Hz known as cabin gain. The 8-inch single 4 ohm voice-coil subwoofer has a powerful motor that maximizes efficiency.
