The voice coil with a generous 14 mm height, has a nominal 3 Ω impedance in addition to an increased power handling. These features provide the ability to maximally exploit the power of the Hertz HCP and HDP amplifiers as well as all the 2 Ω stable electronics. The ferrite 95 mm diameter magnet enables a +/-4.5 mm voice coil linear excursion, ensuring utmost control at all times. The Boundary Free Surround moves a bigger amount of air, and the V-cone® profile improves the offaxis dispersion, the real in-car listening condition. MLK 700.3 Legend is composed of the ML 700.3 Legend Extended Midrange, the ML 280.3 Legend tweeter and the MLCX 2 TM.3 dedicated crossover that features the unique Mid-Countour control with its three-position selector, acting on the mid frequencies of the ML 700.3 Legend midrange by varying the cross-point with the tweeter to obtain the desired sound. The V-cone® exponential profile without the traditional dustcap gets close to the perfect one, generating exceptional dispersion: thanks to the synergistic action of these technological elements, ML700.3 Legend boasts outstanding high frequency extension making it possible to build purist two-way systems in combination with ML 1650.3 Legend or ML 1800.3 Legend. Crossovers: The included 48" tweeter wires have high pass crossovers wired in-line. The input end of each wire is terminated with female quick slides that attach to the woofer terminals, and the output end has terminals that mate to the terminals on the wire attached to the tweeters. The crossover point is 3.5 kHz and the slope is 6 dB/octave. Each crossover is approximately 1" long and ⅜" at its widest point. The woofer is not crossed over.

The CPX 165 car audiocoaxial provides the thrill of listening to the Hertz sound even when the vehicle does not allow the installation of a two-way kit. The Tetolon dome tweeter and Neodymium magnet is provided with off-axis dispersion features and exceptional frequency extension for a detailed, airy sound. Radial Venting System technology ensures unparalleled cooling of the coil thanks to the eight holes at the base of the engine that allow air exchange with the tweeter support. This acts as a rear camera, sized for low Fs, to ensure a natural mid range and allow a low frequency crossover point with the woofer. The pressed-paper cone and the butyl rubber suspension offer an extended low frequency response and an impressive punch. The Mille-inspired design basket features a dampened and protective rubber coated magnet. The grille, available as optional, is made up of a durable high resistance ABS frame and metallic mesh protection.

The latest addition to the Cento PRO line is the CPK 690 system equipped with an elliptical woofer to avail of the 6 x 9 door placements, which are particularly common in the North American market, such as for the models of Toyota and FORD groups.Like the other speakers of the Cento PRO line, the woofer cone is made of pressed paper, the most suitable material to obtain a linear and controlled emission even when the woofer is driven with very high power.All electroacoustic parameters have been optimized to obtain maximum performance with door installations; we therefore find a magnetic group and voice coil improved for an excellent power handling and a lower resonance frequency.The large emission area of the CP 690 increases the woofer efficiency and extends the response down to 35 Hz. The crossover made with selected components, features a low-pass filter on the woofer with a 6 dB/oct. slope and12 dB/oct. on the tweeter with three levels of attenuation.CPK 690 is dedicated to the young enthusiast who wants a front row seat at their favourite concert while sitting comfortably behind the steering wheel.

Two-way systems Cento CK 130 features the new C 26 tweeter featuring a 26 mm (1 in.) Tetolon® dome and 20 mm (0.8 in.) voice coil for a detailed and natural reproduction of medium-high frequencies. The R&D team worked extensively to optimize the C 26 dispersion characteristics to maximize performance on the listening point, with a natural and progressive roll-off and a natural timbre that favors frequency linearity. Much time was invested in the research of the perfect material for the C 130 woofer cones: through a long process of customization of the materials SPP-M was selected (Semi Pressed Paper-Mica), which preserves the natural sound of the semi-pressed paper and enhances it with Mica powder improving rigidity. The result is an excellent balance between lightness and damping, essential for a powerful and controlled emission. The oversized ferrite magnet provides excellent control even at higher excursions. The ultra compact CCX 2 crossover featuring tweeter emission level control (0, +3 dB) uses selected components for a full and engaging sound. The CG 100 grilles included in the Cento systems brighten up the car interior with their sophisticated design. Made of high resistance ABS with metal mesh, they offer a high degree of protection within a compact size, ideal for in-car installation.

The MP 165P.3 woofer electroacoustic parameters have been forged to give it the pure and solid sound of an authentic mid-bass, designed for high dynamic systems. The MPK 165P.3 timbre balance is entrusted to the MPCX 2P.3 crossover featuring a copper inductor with a 1 mm diameter wire to filter the MP 165P.3, which, with its nominal 3 Ω requires high impulse currents. The tweeter MP 25.3 12dB/Octave crossover is built with extremely high quality 160V bi-metallized polyester film capacitor and an air coil inductor. The MPK 1650.3 car audio speakers system is the top of the range two way system of the Mille PRO line. The system uses the 28 mm diameter MP 28.3 tweeter inheriting all the technological features of the Mille Legend ML28.3. The geometry of the Tetolon dome maximizes the typical dispersion of off-axis listening. The rear acoustic chamber with damping material contributes to extend response to lower frequencies achieving a resonance frequency of only 900 Hz. In this way the crossover point between tweeter and woofer can be lowered, improving the sound image in the car dashboard. The massive Neodymium motor minimizes nonlinearity managing the music program with very dynamic transients. The CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) voice coil guarantees an especially light weight and stiff moving assembly. These technological elements interact with each other, resulting in a high frequency extension of 28 kHz, a record for a tweeter featuring a 28 mm voice coil. The two positions Hi-Contour control provides the ability to fine tune the system frequency response optimizing it according to the different speakers positions. Most of all, the listeners can achieve their favourite sound thanks to the three-position control for the tweeter emission level with 2 dB steps (+2/0/-2dB) attenuation.

The MLK 165.3 Legend car audio speakers system is composed of the ML 28.3 Legend tweeter and the ML 165.3 Legend woofer with the MLCX 165.3 dedicated crossover. The woofer originates from the ML 1650.3 Legend, inheriting all its technologies such as the Boundary Free Surround, the V-cone profile Pressed-pulp cone with cotton fibres, the six spoke aluminium basket with vented holes; however, it has been designed employing a high density ferrite magnet assembly, characterising its emission in the mid frequency range. The ML 28.3 Legend tweeter mounts the same Neodymium magnet assembly as the ML 280.3 Legend’s and features all the optimizations made with FEA methods on the dome profile, and that it shares with its “older brother”, except for the most esoteric features such as the die-cast aluminium faceplate, the CNC machined body made from solid aluminium block and the copper short circuit ring. Like MLCX 2 TW.3, also the MLCX 165.3 crossover features the “Hi-Contour” control to adjust the ML 28.3 tweeter cut-off frequency and so the cross-point with the ML 165.3 woofer, according to the position of the two speakers in the car. Through the tweeter three position level control, with 2 dB step attenuation, the level for a correct timbre balance can be fine-tuned according to one’s own tastes.

The Hertzaudio Cento Pro CPK 165 PRO car audio system includes the CP 165woofer and the CP 25 tweeter with Tetolon dome and 25 mm voice coil, features ensuring a very wide and linear frequency response. The CP 25 employs the “Center Tuning Duct” technology: the tunnel at the center of the powerful Neodymium magnetic circuit, ensures low-temperature air exchange between the dome and the rear loading chamber, perfectly tuning the acoustics. The resulting very low resonance frequency is also functional for the woofer crossover point, elevating the sound stage. The sophisticated design of the mobile group and suspensions of the CP 165 woofer, featuring a 60Hz calibrated resonance frequency, ensures a medium-low power with excellent punch, making listening to rich low frequency genres a unique experience. The basket is consistent with the family-feeling of the Mille line with the addition of damping and protective rubber. The cone material is inherited from the Mille Pro, as well as the suspension butyl rubber and the Tetolon fiber of the tweeter dome. These materials have excellent damping and lightness characteristics, producing a balanced sound without resonance peaks. The gift box includes the woofers grilles made of a combination of metallic mesh and high resistance ABS plastic frame. The combination of these two elements allows the user to customize the installation with a sophisticated and elegant design.
