The FiX™ 86 is a state-of-the-art digital signal processor engineered to deliver outstanding sound from factory source units while retaining OEM fader control. Unlike typical OEM interface products, the FiX™ 86 automatically corrects time-delayed factory outputs prior to signal summing and EQ correction.
Calibration takes just a single button press and about 30 seconds to complete, with no special equipment needed. With a powerful 24-bit DSP processor and quad 1/3 octave equalizers onboard, complex factory signals, up to the 3-way front and 2-way rear, are combined and level matched automatically into six, full-range stereo signals: Front (fader-controlled), Rear (fader-controlled) and Subwoofer (non-fading, front+rear summed) outputs.
By connecting a PC running TüN™ Software via USB, you can also access a complete suite of diagnostic panels that show the frequency response of input signals, as well as the corrected outputs. Adjustments can be made to input polarity, muting, and filtering, and new calibrations can be initiated from the PC as well.
By clicking on the “TUNE” tab of the TüN™ interface, you can also access four, user-adjustable, 10-band, graphic equalizers to fine-tune the output signals. At the core of the C1-570x are a proprietary, stamped, steel 5 x 7-inch (125 x 180 mm) oval frame and a DMA-optimized motor system.
A mineral-filled, injection-moulded polypropylene cone is suspended with a rubber surround on the front, and a carefully engineered flat Conex® spider at the top of the voice coil, to precisely control motion and prevent impact between the voice coil and the backplate.
Tinsel leads are carefully routed and attached to the spider to prevent fatigue and buzzing. These are the same kinds of features and materials normally found on much more expensive loudspeakers.
Equipped with a true, edge-driven, aluminium dome tweeter, C1 speakers stand further apart from others in its category with superior high-frequency clarity and definition. The tweeter’s design has an inherently excellent off-axis response and high-frequency extension.

To allow this remarkable feat to be achieved, JL Audio’s patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the TW3’s using a “concentric tube” structure built into the injection-moulded cone body. This structure supports the voice coil and a full annular spider while permitting the placement of the large motor structure further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs.

To unleash even more performance from this technology, the v2 improves upon the original 13TW5 with 13% greater linear excursion capability. The cast alloy chassis has also been modified for greater strength and the redesigned motor now features an annular vent. The v2 is also available in single 2 ohm and si4-ohm4 ohm voice coil versions to fit a wide range of applications.
In keeping with its “tight-spaces” mission, the 13TW5v2 is optimized for enclosures that are far smaller than most 12-inch woofers require and only a bit larger than the air space needs of a typical, small-box 10-inch woofer. The C2-400x system features 4-inch (100 mm) woofers with mineral-filled polypropylene cones, long excursion capabilities and stamped steel frames. The woofer design benefits from JL Audio's vast woofer design experience and advanced modelling systems.
Breakaway mounting tabs on the woofer frame allow the C2-400x to be installed in four-hole or two-hole configurations. Injection-moulded adaptor plates are also included to allow mounting of the C2-400x speakers into a 4 x 6 (100 x 150 mm) speaker location.

It features shallow mounting depth (3.86 in. / 98 mm) and a compact motor structure, allowing it to comfortably fit in a lot of spaces where a typical 8-inch driver will not. Lacking a pole vent, the rear of the motor structure can be placed directly against an enclosure boundary. Excellent excursion capability and linearity allow it to reproduce sub-bass with shocking extension and quality. Built on JL Audio's patented thin-line subwoofer technology, the 10TW1 delivers a powerful combination of shallow mounting depth and excursion capability, while operating in insanely small enclosures (0.35 cu.ft. / 10 liters). This, combined with a special cast alloy frame design, makes the 10TW1 capable of operating in extremely tight spaces. These include under-seat installations in trucks, 2-seat sports cars and many other creative applications requiring a compact, low profile subwoofer design.
JL Audio's patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the 10TW1 using a "concentric tube" structure built into the injection-molded cone body. This structure supports the voice coil and a full annular spider, while permitting the placement of a large motor structure further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs.
The 10TW1 also features a clever frame design that minimizes the frontal clearance required for the excursion of the driver. This is accomplished by recessing the suspension attachment surface, so that most of the forward excursion occurs within the frame's dimensions. Thanks to this feature, the 10TW1 requires only 0.87 inches (22 mm) of frontal clearance, even with its grille installed. This allows for more efficient use of space and increased enclosure volume within a given overall depth.
Even though the 10TW1 is optimized for an enclosure much smaller than any other JL Audio ten-inch Subwoofer, it never sounds like a big woofer struggling in a tiny box...instead, it delivers all the rich, deep, controlled bass you have come to expect from a JL Audio subwoofer system.

This advanced Subwoofer offers several technologies shared with the flagship W7AE subwoofers to provide powerful advantages in motor linearity and suspension behavior. Words like "extreme," "reference" and "ultimate" get thrown around quite a bit in the Subwoofer world, but rare is the product that can honestly lay claim to them. The 13W7AE does.
Taking the W7 design formula to its highest level, the 13W7AE offers a staggering linear excursion envelope that exceeds 1.25 inches (32 mm) one-way, along with a suspension capable of over 4-inches of peak-to-peak excursion. Combine that with a piston diameter that is 28% larger than the 12W7AE's, and you have a serious high-performance driver for the most demanding applications. With a 13W7AE, limits simply vanish and amazing sub-bass happens... on all fronts, at any level.

Enclosure NotesNet volumes given above do not include the air volume displaced by the speaker (Driver Displacement). This value must be added to the net volume along with the displacement of any braces and/or ports (if applicable) to arrive at a gross internal volume. Air inside a port is not part of the effective net volume. Calculate ports as solid, not hollow objects.
* The W7’s employ a pole vent to remove heat and pressure from the inside of the speaker.This vent is located at the rear of the speaker. A minimum distance of 0.75 in (19 mm) is required between the back of the speaker and any wall of the enclosure to allow proper operation of the pole vent.

Safety NoticeIt is absolutely essential that the completed subwoofer enclosure is mounted firmly to the vehicle with heavy steel bolts (0.5 in diameter) and large steel washers on both sides of the bolts.
