A snorkel is a must do replacement on the VDJ series model range, with the factory item being no more than a ducting for intake air and providing little in the way of flow or sealing against water ingress. Our Fatz built 4” snorkel is built in 316 or 304 Grade Stainless steel depending on finish option, professionally TIG welded and polished to a seamless 320 grain finish, or powder coated Satin Black to match common bar work accessories and factory elements on your vehicle. Designed specifically for the MY24 Face lift vehicles, utilizing the factory mounting points with sturdy 3 mm stainless brackets, also using the lower and front factory mounting rubber so no chaffing on body panels can occur. The entry point allows the original entry hole and mountings to be cut out so no evidence is left of the original VDJ 70 snorkel. Easily plumbed to the factory Airbox or sold in combination with our Fatz built airbox, to supply clean Air and piping in no less than 4” all the way to the Mass Air Flow sensor entry. The rear facing snorkel entry is finished with a laser cut infill with the Fatz logo incorporated to allow as much open surface area as possible while not allowing large objects to enter the snorkel. The Legendary VDJ 70 Series Land cruiser has become an icon for workers and 4×4 enthusiasts alike. With such a focus on modification and improvements, our Induction products can help with your vision for either. The factory airbox has a widely known issue for allowing dust bypass, and is something that needs to be rectified. Our Airbox will filter better, flow more and allow for additions of common performance products or general under bonnet accessories on the market. Our Airbox picks up on factory mounting locations so no drilling or cutting is required. Has compatibility with common front mount kits, such as PDI. We include the required bracketry and hoses to re-locate the power steering reservoir (required to fit out box with some additional items fitted to engine bay). Our VDJ 70 series Airbox includes all the design features that make Fatz built Airboxes a first choice for off road vehicles. With water trap and drain valve for dispersing water drawn in through the snorkel, as well as a water deflector plate so water cannot hit the filter directly when taken in. Our Airbox has a flow capacity of 1080CFM* (with 4″ inlet) with the filter and hardware installed, compared to the Factory Airbox with 680CFM. The box is supplied with a filter of your choice (8-layer oiled gauze or dry element paper in a 9-inch POD configuration) both are an excellent choice for off-road application. Supplied with our Standard plumbing kit to the factory MAF Sensor inlet.
