GU Patrol 4″ High Flow Airbox
Our GU Patrol 4″ High flow Airbox is a versatile unit with great compatibility in many common set ups. With GU Patrol 4” inlet and outlet, supplied with our Fatz Built filter in your choice of either an 8 layer oiled gauze or dry element paper in a 9 inch POD configuration, clear acrylic lid for a great look and easy checking of filter soiling. All the required hardware, template for enlarging the hole through the inner guard and fitting instructions supplied with the box. The box incorporates a water trap and duck valve drain, to allow water to drain away from the filter when ingested through the snorkel. The box is compatible with dual batteries with no modification to the box or tray. Simply select your plumbing kit (sold separately) to allow fitment with many common Engine combinations such as TD42, ZD30, RD28, LS1-3 etc. Not compatible with TB48 or TB45 without modifications. With an increase in flow from 410CFM with the factory box to Over 850CFM* with our High Flow Airbox, the improvements will be obvious. Supplied in all cases with filter, template for guard hole enlargement, clear lid, fasteners and instructions to fit out.

Y62 Patrol 5″ Powder coated Snorkel .
The Y62 Patrol is gaining popularity for touring and modification, with more aftermarket accessories and options on the market in current times. Our 5″ snorkel complements the appearance of the vehicle and follows body lines in a close fitting manor. The snorkel is 5″ 304 grade stainless steel. Purge welded and sanded back to a seamless finish in all cases. Powder coated Satin black to complement the aesthetic you desire for your vehicle. Supplied in all cases with all needed to install, for a DIY or supplied through one of our retailers across the country. With Fitment of snorkels on Y62 patrols we also install a duck valve and water deflector plate into the factory airbox to help prevent any water entering the snorkel from contacting the air filter. Compatible with all series of Y62 Patrol series1 through 5.

Our Toyota HDJ75 / HDJ79 series Airbox is a high flow alternative for the Factory airbox. The box incorporates a duck valve drain to allow water to drain away from the filter, when ingested through the snorkel for peace of mind motoring. Mounting the airbox is taken care of by the factory mounting rubbers and fasteners. Plumbing from the air box outlet to the turbo inlet is comprised of silicone couplings and powder coated alloy pipe supplied as part of the kit.

A common addition to the engine bay on VDJ 70 series is an additional fuel filter. These are typically mounted behind the factory Airbox where our Airbox protrudes to. We have developed our fuel filter mounting bracket to mount to the Reservoir mounting location on the back of our Airbox, this enables you to retain your filter in a similar location and not require additional modification when fitting our Airbox. Made in 3mm Stainless steel. This will complement your Airbox fitment with a functional feature in your engine bay.

Our paper element filters have been independently tested as per ISO 5011 standards and rated with a filtration efficiency of 99.9%. Our Filters have been supplied to our customer base for over a decade and have undergone hundreds of thousands of km of vigorous testing in vehicles from daily driven vehicles to off-road racing applications, such as Winch truck Challenges and Off-Road Rally, all with great results. Our 9″ element filters can be supplied for general applications as well as replacements for your Fatz built Airbox. Maximum flow capacity on our Dry element 9″ filters are 1080CFM as tested. The Pod design offers many advantages over OEM panel filters. With a very secure sealing design to the Airbox outlet, the filter will not cause a leak when under heavy suction in a clogged state. If the filter element is a quality material, there is no way for dust to bypass the filter under normal operating conditions.
