GU Patrol 4″ High Flow Airbox
Our GU Patrol 4″ High flow Airbox is a versatile unit with great compatibility in many common set ups. With GU Patrol 4” inlet and outlet, supplied with our Fatz Built filter in your choice of either an 8 layer oiled gauze or dry element paper in a 9 inch POD configuration, clear acrylic lid for a great look and easy checking of filter soiling. All the required hardware, template for enlarging the hole through the inner guard and fitting instructions supplied with the box. The box incorporates a water trap and duck valve drain, to allow water to drain away from the filter when ingested through the snorkel. The box is compatible with dual batteries with no modification to the box or tray. Simply select your plumbing kit (sold separately) to allow fitment with many common Engine combinations such as TD42, ZD30, RD28, LS1-3 etc. Not compatible with TB48 or TB45 without modifications. With an increase in flow from 410CFM with the factory box to Over 850CFM* with our High Flow Airbox, the improvements will be obvious. Supplied in all cases with filter, template for guard hole enlargement, clear lid, fasteners and instructions to fit out.

In all cases our snorkels are finished to a seamless form, with no evidence of welding visible. The Fatz Built N70 Hilux Airbox is in the line of our latest generation of Airboxes. With All aluminium construction, factory rubber mounting and CNC machined MAF housing, this product will not disappoint. The N70 factory airbox outlet and MAF mounting leaves a lot to be desired form a flow perspective, with a very tight bend at the outlet of the box into the MAF tube. This also makes the integration of the MAF into a different tube with better flow characteristics a little challenging. We have spent a lot of time in testing and development on this product to ensure it is accurate. Our box will not cause any drive-ability or tuning issues. The Box has a 4″ inlet to couple with our snorkel or existing snorkels in the same location. The box is supplied with plumbing to the turbo inlet, for a bolt in, drive away experience, with all needed to fit out. The Airbox has a 10mm thick perspex lid to make filter inspections a breeze. The box houses our 9″ long filter element in either an 8 layer gauze or paper element. Both options well suited for off road applications. The Ranger Raptor is a substantial step up in the current generation with power to support the exceptional chassis configuration. The Fatz Built RA RAPTOR 5" snorkel incorporates the true RAPTOR ethos with it's oversized yet refined styling. Our Snorkel is built in 304 Grade Stainless steel tube and finished to a true seamless form through a process developed over the 14 years we have been building snorkels. Then powder coated Satin Black to match common accessories on the market. Fitment is key with the need to align with body panels from any angle. Mounting to the A pillar is secure and robust with 3 M6 Nutcerts mounting the folded bracket.
The RA comes from the factory with the washer bottle for the windscreen in the guard cavity making plumbing to the Airbox inlet difficult. Fatz has overcome this with our specifically designed Aluminium replacement unit which fits in the factory location. Resulting in the ability to plumb to the airbox inlet with 4" tubing for maximum airflow as required.
Our snorkels are provided with all components required for installation including all plumbing items needed, cad drawn and scale printed templates, colour photo instruction manual, Fabricated washer bottle, plumbing to airbox and the confidence only purchasing with Fatz can bring.

With the ECU location from factory, this needs to be re-located for fitment of most snorkels. We have an allowance on the rear of the Airbox, for mounting of the ECU, in a secure and protected manor. Supplied in all cases with our Fatz Built 7″ Filter in either an oiled Gauze or paper element. A very basic install for anyone with basic mechanical knowledge.

In line with this, our Fatz Built NP300/D23 Navara snorkel is designed with aesthetics and fitment in mind. The guard cavity provides a couple of challenges with minimal room, and the factory washer bottle to contend with. We have this sorted with the design of our snorkel, allowing for ample clearance, to fit plumbing through the guard without hard contact with body panels, or manipulating silicone bends to make them fit. Our snorkels are built in 316 Grade, 3″ stainless steel, and finished to a seamless form for polishing or powder coating, depending on your preference. Plumbing to the Airbox in 3″ ducting, supplying ample air for the 2.3L engines. *Adaption kit, and Fatz Built washer bottle are required to plumb to the factory airbox, due to the entry location on the airbox, and ECU mounting location.
