MP 28.3 Mille Pro 28 mm diameter tweeter component inheriting all the technological features of the Mille Legend ML28.3. The geometry of the Tetolon dome maximizes the typical dispersion of off-axis listening. The rear acoustic chamber with damping material contributes to extend response to lower frequencies achieving a resonance frequency of only 900 Hz. In this way the crossover point between tweeter and woofer can be lowered, improving the sound image in the car dashboard. The massive Neodymium motor minimizes nonlinearity managing the music program with very dynamic transients. The CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) voice coil guarantees an especially light weight and stiff moving assembly. These technological elements interact with each other, resulting in a high frequency extension of 28kHz, a record for a tweeter featuring a 28mm voice coil. An elegant and compact angled tweeter support is provided with the tweeter: this allows easy installation both on the A-pillars and on the car dashboard. To improve the car audio tweeters which was considered a reference since its first introduction into the market is a quite challenging task which could only be performed by a continued evolution in time and maximum care for each detail that might affect sound.From these presuppositions the Hertz ML 280.3 Legend car audio speakers has been born. Through the FEA simulations, the electro-acoustic designers carried out an extensive research which led to the optimization of the Tetolon dome geometry, to minimize distortion.This optimization method led to a reviewed face plate geometry for improved frequency response and lower distortion.Another element of the tweeter especially important for sound is the rear acoustic chamber: the designers performed an exhaustive research on the geometry as well as on the employed damping material, achieving 50% increase in overall volume, to extend response to lower frequencies with 900Hz resonance frequency. ART is only available with Speaker Level inputs. Universal Speakers Simulator (USS): The SR 4.500 features Universal Speakers Simulator (USS) technology built into it. USS is a dynamic load circuit that presents a speaker channel with impedance low enough to keep an OEM head unit/amplifier from muting its output, but not low enough to cause over-current or heating problems. This makes the SR 4.500 amplifier ideal for OEM integration. All Channels Driven: Incorporating Audison's "All Channels Driven" design philosophy, the SR 4.500's power supply is designed to handle the cumulative power demand of the amplifier, meaning the amp can deliver the rated power on all channels simultaneously. Optional VCR-S2 Remote Control: The Audison 4-channel amplifier can be used with the optional Audison VCR-S2 Remote Volume Control (sold separately). This lets you adjust the level of the amplifier's B Channel outputs from the front of your vehicle. The rotary control has a point at 0 dB to mark the normal amp output. From there, you can turn the amplifier up to +6dB or attenuate the volume down to -20dB. The VCR-S2's 16' connection cable plugs into a 2-pin socket on the amplifier. Xover (x2): A and B channel sets each include a 3-way crossover switch for selecting Full, LP, or HP. A corresponding Freq dial lets you select a cutoff frequency from 50 Hz to 3200 Hz. Mono (In L) (x2): A push-button switch lets you run a mono signal to the left input channel (On); Off, lets you run a stereo pair of inputs. The attractive stainless steel tweeter mesh grille provides perfect high-frequency transfer and a rock-solid protection. The RGB LED lighting circuit is integrated below the tweeter, protected by a Polypropylene transparent cover acting as light diffusion. The UV-resistant polypropylene cone co-molded with Santoprene rubber surround together with the basket and grille injected with a Hi-temperature and UV resistant polymer neutralize water, dust and mud. The aramid fiber spider with silicone-insulated lead wires ensures durability and constant performance over time. The high-excursion mobile equipment is driven by a massive magnetic group, to deliver high undistorted sound pressure. RGB Multicolour Built-in RGB led lighting creates sophisticated atmosphere, adding a touch of class to your vessel. Use the optional HMRGB1BK RGB Controller for full 256 colour step control, lighting presets and music tempo control. Alternatively the speakers can be permanently set to either Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta, Cyan or White lighting via a 12VDC Supply. Water Jet Tested The protection grade IP65 for speakers define all the Hertz Marine products as totally protected against water jets of different entities, making them highly performant in the marine environment. UV Resistant According to the severe ASTM-D4329 standards for UV resistance, all the materials used for Hertz Marine products are designed to face long time exposition to UV radiations while cruising on the open sea.
