Jmacx Converted 79 Series 4” Dpf Back Exhaust.
If you are looking to improve the sound and appearance of your Jmacx converted 79 Series, but retain the DPF, our 4” DPF Back exhaust is a great option. Flaring to 4” right at the back of the DPF, our system will improve flow in the rear section of the system and make your 79 series sound great. With the DPF in-line, there is little need for a muffler in this system. There is no muffler option available for this system at this time due to space constraint. All the components of this system are compatible with our turbo back system, except the DPF intermediate pipe, so should you want to change to a full system from the turbo back in the future, there is not a lot of redundant parts. The 200 Series Landcruiser is one of the most capable 4WD’s on the market, and Torqit’s Twin Exit DPF Back Performance Exhaust has the strength and durability to match its reputation. Renowned for our Landcruiser systems, this twin exit exhaust is one of the thickest and most durable mandrel bent systems of its kind in Australia. Tried and tested in the toughest of conditions, it is ideal for long-distance touring and off-roading. Added bonus- it is the only twin exit exhaust available for the 200 Series Landcruiser which still allows you to keep the spare tyre under the vehicle.
Manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel, our exhausts are fully mandrel bent and up to 2mm thick. The three-bolt, laser cut flanges are also 304 grade stainless steel, and are welded inside and out for extra strength. The thickness of the steel prevents cracking when traversing rough terrain, and deepens the note. This 200 Series exhaust exits left and right at the rear of the vehicle through 3” tailpipes. The tailpipe diameter helps retain definition and depth to the vehicle note. Not only does the twin exit exhaust look more aggressive, it also adds a different dynamic to the note when compared to the 200 Series single exit exhaust.
To further amplify the note, Torqit’s 200 Series DPF Back Performance Exhaust comes standard with an x-pipe. The x-pipe redirects the exhaust gases through a less congested path and balances out uneven exhaust pulses. This increases the sound output, reduces back pressure, and increases the engine efficiency and fuel economy.* As the owner of a vehicle fitted with a DPF, no doubt you are aware there are few things which damage a diesel engine quicker than excessive Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGT’s). By improving the flow of gases, Torqit’s 200 Series Performance Exhaust has been developed to lower these EGT’s and help your vehicle breathe better and live longer.

304 Grade Stainless SteelThe highest quality steel used in exhaust systems is 304 grade stainless, which is renowned for its high strength, corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. It is known as an austenitic stainless steel, meaning due to a high percentage of chromium and nickel it is extremely resistant to rust, stress, and harsh conditions such as high temperatures. The excellent properties of Torqit’s 304 grade stainless demonstrate its strength in comparison to the 409 grade stainless commonly used in the automotive industry. For heavy duty strength and resistance to corrosion, 304 grade stainless steel is the superior choice. Internal & External WeldsHigh quality welds are essential to avoiding structural fatigue on joints, stopping cracks from forming, and preventing exhaust gas leaks. TWIN EXIT PERFORMANCE EXHAUST INSTALLATION
Torqit’s Twin Exit 200 Series Performance Exhaust is a full bolt together system, and comes with detailed fitting instructions. It does not require a hoist, and can be installed in approximately three hours on your driveway. It comes with a full fitment kit and requires only a basic socket set and spanners for install.
