What Focal is famous for

A classic woofer with a twist
The 6-1/2" woofer uses Focal's classic "W" sandwich cone design for incredibly accurate audio reproduction. The nimble and rigid woofers, made with aramid fiber, lightweight foam, and fiberglass, demonstrate the control needed to play delicate classical passages. Yet, they'll handle the power needed to drive your bass-heavy tracks with authority. Focal adds a new Tuned Mass Damper (TMD®) butyl rubber surround which minimizes harmonic distortion for the cleanest midrange possible.
In addition to sweet-sounding tweeters and woofers, this system includes crossovers with settings to tweak your sound.

The unique TKME aramid fiber tweeter employs an "M"-shaped inverted dome design that disperses the highs with remarkable precision, all the way up to 22,000 Hz. The TWU1.5 tweeter is designed for custom installation with existing Universal range kits. Easy to fit, four different mounting options are available: flush fit, on angled stand, flat or straight behind the original grill, removing the tweeter from its Focal bracket. This inverted dome tweeter is made of aluminium/magnesium alloy. This gives the trebles an extended frequency response of up to 21 kHz, for clearer, more detailed reproduction.
