This incredible MicroSub™ subwoofer system delivers the kind of output and extension that is normally possible with only much larger systems. The key to its performance lies in the precise tuning of its dual 8W3v3 subwoofer drivers, each in separate airspace, with an efficient slot-ported design. Extensive interior bracing permits the use of thinner wall material that maximizes the enclosure’s internal volume relative to its exterior volume. The port for each driver wraps around two walls of the enclosure to produce the necessary low tuning frequency that ensures excellent extension and response smoothness. The two flared port entries/exits, one on each end of the enclosure, further enhance sound quality by minimizing air-flow noises through these ports. ZD30 CRD/Di Plumbing Kit. Fatz Box to Turbo inlet. Our Plumbing kit for the ZD30 utilizes a CNC bent calibrated sized tube allowing for direct installation of the MAF sensor and PCV hose as required. This allows for free-flowing intake air from our Fatz built Airbox to the turbo inlet while ensuring Air flow data is accurate. The PCV hose is plumbed back into the intake with high quality Aeroflow fittings and hose required. Also included in the kit is a Laser cut, folded bracket for re-location of the boost control solenoid as required. NOTE: Series 4 ZD30 Di has the CRD MAF Sensor and needs a CRD Kit. If the sensor in your vehicle has a rectangle slot, you NEED a CRD plumbing kit. RA RAPTOR 5″ Snorkel inc Washer bottle The Ranger Raptor is a substantial step up in the current generation with power to support the exceptional chassis configuration. The Fatz Built RA RAPTOR 5" snorkel incorporates the true RAPTOR ethos with it's oversized yet refined styling. Our Snorkel is built in 304 Grade Stainless steel tube and finished to a true seamless form through a process developed over the 14 years we have been building snorkels. Then powder coated Satin Black to match common accessories on the market. Fitment is key with the need to align with body panels from any angle. Mounting to the A pillar is secure and robust with 3 M6 Nutcerts mounting the folded bracket. The RA comes from the factory with the washer bottle for the windscreen in the guard cavity making plumbing to the Airbox inlet difficult. Fatz has overcome this with our specifically designed Aluminium replacement unit which fits in the factory location. GU Patrol 4″ High Flow Airbox Our GU Patrol 4″ High flow Airbox is a versatile unit with great compatibility in many common set ups. With GU Patrol 4” inlet and outlet, supplied with our Fatz Built filter in your choice of either an 8 layer oiled gauze or dry element paper in a 9 inch POD configuration, clear acrylic lid for a great look and easy checking of filter soiling. All the required hardware, template for enlarging the hole through the inner guard and fitting instructions supplied with the box. When the engine is running (and hot) the vehicle’s alternator is doing the majority of the charging and not the solar panel. This means there is very little effect from the additional heat on the system when the system is used for its intended benefits. In order to help with the heat build-up, each VSS panel is prepped with closed cell neoprene on the back of the panel. This serves two purposes; it lifts the panel up off of the bonnet creating an air packet between the panel and the bonnet allowing for cooling, while also helping to protect the vehicle bonnet from any contact with the back of the panel. Will the VSS System work with my battery? The MPPT charge controller included in our complete kits are programmed to charge a wide variety of battery types. Our system will work with AGM, Lead-Acid and Gel Cell Type Batteries. *we do not recommend the use of Optima Batteries with the VSS system. Can it be removed? Once installed the VSS system is not designated to be removed from the vehicle.
