This Slimline II 1/2 rack kit contains all the components needed to mount the Slimline II cargo carrying rack to a Jeep JK 4 door 2007-2018 including the Slimline II Tray (1425mm x 1358mm), the Jeep Extreme Mounting System and a Wind Deflector. Drilling is required for installation.

This sophisticated, rugged, high performance, nearly indestructible rack system allows you to quickly remove the Freedom Panels and works with the hardtop roof on or with no roof at all.

All Front Runner Rack Kits contain installation instructions as well as all the components and hardware needed to mount the Slimline II Tray to your vehicle.

The Front Runner JK Extreme mounting system is secured to the roll bar with middle and rear brackets. This unobtrusive, high performance, nearly indestructible mounting solution allows you to quickly remove the Freedom Panels and works with the hardtop or with no roof at all. Freedom Panels can be quickly and easily removed with rack in place. The cargo weight is evenly distributed across the roll bars and body of the jeep, placing zero weight or stress on the hardtop itself.

  • The t-slots on the tops and bottoms of the rack tray slats and edge profiles accommodate standard 8mm bolts.
  • To determine the approximate height from your vehicles roof to the top of your Slimline II Roof Rack, add the height of the Slimline II Tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the Foot or Grab-on Foot listed above.
  • If your Slimline II Roof Rack kit uses Legs, add the height of the Slimline II Tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the Legs to determine the height of the rack from your vehicles rain gutters.
  • If your Slimline II Roof Rack kit uses Foot Rails, add the height of the Slimline II Tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the Foot Rails to determine the height of the rack from the crown (highest point) of the vehicles roof.
