What a 79 Series Service Includes
Every LandCruiser 79 service follows the Toyota schedule for your model and kilometres. Typical items include:
V8 OIL & FILTER
Engine oil and filter changed to Toyota specification for your V8 diesel.
FUEL FILTERS
Fuel filter and water trap checked or replaced, so your V8 runs on clean fuel.
DIFFS & DRIVELINE
Diff, gearbox and transfer case oils checked, plus swivel hubs and uni joints.
BRAKES & SUSPENSION
Brakes, springs, shocks, bushes and steering inspected for wear.
76, 78 and 79 Series Servicing
We service the full 70 Series range: the 76 Series wagon, the 78 Series Troop Carrier and the 79 Series ute. Every 70 Series service follows the intervals in your logbook, by kilometres or months, whichever comes first. Few 4WDs work as hard as a 70 Series. If you tow, carry heavy loads or drive in dust, your vehicle may need shorter intervals. Bring your logbook and we will check what is due.

Trays, canopies, water tanks and drawers add weight every day. Long trips on corrugated roads can also shake fittings loose. For touring and work 70 Series, we add these checks:

Will servicing outside a Toyota dealer void my warranty?
No, not automatically. Under the Australian Consumer Law, an independent qualified workshop can service your LandCruiser. The work must follow Toyota's specifications and use suitable parts and fluids.
