What a Hilux Service Includes
Every Hilux service follows the Toyota schedule for your model and kilometres. Typical items include:
OIL & FILTER
Engine oil and filter changed to Toyota specification for your engine.
FUEL & AIR FILTERS
Diesel fuel filter, water trap and air filter checked or replaced when due.
BRAKES & SUSPENSION
Pads, rotors, leaf springs, shocks and bushes inspected for wear.
FLUIDS & DRIVELINE
Coolant, brake, gearbox and diff fluids checked, plus an underbody check.
Hilux Service Intervals
Most N70 and N80 Hilux models are serviced every 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first. The new Hilux has its own schedule, so check your logbook. Each generation has different engines and service items, so the work at each visit depends on your model. If you tow, carry heavy loads or drive in dust, your Hilux may need shorter intervals. Bring your logbook or tell us your last service date, and we will check what is due.
