What a Ford Ranger Service Includes
Every Ford Ranger servicing appointment follows the Ford schedule for your model and kilometres. Typical items include:
OIL & FILTER
Engine oil and filter changed to Ford specification for your engine.
FUEL & AIR FILTERS
Diesel fuel filter, water trap and air filter checked or replaced when due.
BRAKES & SUSPENSION
Pads, rotors, shocks, springs and bushes inspected for wear.
FLUIDS & DRIVELINE
Coolant, brake, gearbox and diff fluids checked, plus a full underbody check.
How Often Should You Service a Ranger?
Follow the service intervals in your logbook, by kilometres or months, whichever comes first. PX and Next Gen Rangers have different engines and service items, so the work at each visit depends on your model. If you tow, drive off-road or work in dusty conditions, your Ranger may need shorter intervals. Bring your logbook or tell us your last service date, and we will check what is due.
Extra Checks for Rangers That Tow or Carry a Canopy
A canopy, drawers and touring gear add weight every day. Towing a caravan near the Ranger's 3,500 kg limit adds even more. We add these checks for working and touring Rangers:

The cost depends on your model, engine, kilometres and the items due at that interval. We do not publish a set price because every Ranger is different. Send us your details for a quote.
Will servicing outside a Ford dealer void my warranty?
No, not automatically. Under the Australian Consumer Law, an independent qualified workshop can service your Ranger. The work must follow Ford's specifications and use suitable parts and fluids.
