Sublime 3-way system
Handmade in France, the Elite K2 Power Series ES 165 KX3E component system is the culmination of Focal's passion for perfect sound. Focal's sound gurus engaged in intensive listening sessions designing this line of speakers so that you enjoy uncanny realism, sweeping dynamics, and breathtaking depth in your music. This Focal system includes tweeters, midrange drivers, adjustable crossovers, and woofers to recreate a refined 3-way sound experience that matches their home speakers.
A classic woofer with a twist
The 6-1/2" woofer uses Focal's classic "W" sandwich cone design for incredibly accurate audio reproduction. The light foam core is sandwiched between the nimble aramid fiber and fiberglass layers, so the woofer can demonstrate the control needed to play delicate classical passages, yet handle the power needed to drive your bass-heavy tracks with authority. Focal adds a Tuned Mass Damper (TMD®) rubber surround which minimizes harmonic distortion for the cleanest midrange possible. The 3" driver in this 3-way system uses the same sandwich cone to deliver all the midrange details, as well as an aluminum phase plug for extended frequency response.
The two included Focal crossovers provide five level and crossover slope settings to dial in the sound in your vehicle.
A responsive tweeter
Focal employs a unique 1-1/8" aramid fiber tweeter with an "M"-shaped inverted dome design that disperses the highs with remarkable precision, all the way up to 22,000 Hz. The K2 Power crossovers use hand-made components to deliver an ideal blend of the highs and lows for a dynamic stereo image. Five settings for tweeter, midrange, and woofer control let you dial in the sound to your car's environment.

For all 4x4 advice, products and service, look no further than TJM Northern Beaches in Brookvale. Jason has built a fantastic team of professionals who have both in-depth technical knowledge and experience and demonstrate some of the best customer service skills I’ve seen. They beat their competitors in this area hands down. Jason was fantastic with helping me design and specify my Y62 Patrol build earlier this year and was very honest about what they could do / supply and things that I would be better sourcing from other suppliers. Throughout the build, he provided solutions, not problems particularly regarding a pre rego GVM upgrade. He was great in communicating progress and working with Nissan to ensure all the work was completed prior to registration. A big shout out also to Andy and Ed in the workshop who were very patient and helpful in providing me with an operational handover once it was complete.
